Elephant Playthings is a very small toy company started by Sherry Diaz - based in Chicago, IL.

Sherry Diaz is an artist, designer, woodworker, educator, and a super-proud mama. She teaches woodworking at the Chicago Waldorf School and has a design studio and workshop in the city - where she produces one of a kind, handmade furniture and toys for her daughter - and for all children!

Although Sherry designed her first educational wooden toy when she was fourteen years old, she only began actively building toys following the birth of her daughter (and number one client) in 2010. The solid wood rocker-board is her first wooden toy to be in production.

Both she and her daughter can't wait for more simple playthings to follow...
